Topic : I have a light fixture that I bought at a thrift store that appears to be from Europe. There are three wires, one black, one blue and one that is yellow with a green stripe... Am I correct to assume that black connects to black, blue connects to white and the yellow/green is the ground? Or, do I need to totally rewire the fixture? Thank you for your help!!!
I can't honestly answer that in good conscience. I would assume you're right about the colors and where they go, but I would still trace them to their point of origin to be sure. This isn't something you want to be wrong about.
