I seem to have air in my kitchen sink pipes. When I put the water on, the whole sink shakes. Any easy way to fix this without calling a plumber.
It's unlikely that there's air stuck in just the kitchen pipes. I bet that the aerator is clogged. (it's the little thing at the end of the faucet). Try unscrewing it and cleaning it out. Take the parts right out of the socket and clean the screen too. While you have it off, try turning on the water and see if the problem is gone. If it is than you may want to take the aerator to the hardware store and buy a new one. They're very hard to clean well, and a new one runs about $5.
If that doesn't solve the problem you may need to have the faucet repaired or replaced. The sound is being caused by a restriction in the water flow somewhere
