How do I repair sealer around kitchen sink? It is peeling around the borders and rust is developing.
Simply remove the old sealer using a razor blade and a flat screwdriver. Clean around the sink very well with rubbing alcohol. Make sure all surfaces are very dry (let sit for at least 2 hours) and fill the gap with the best silicone caulk you can get. Follow the directions on the tube for application. This will seal that gap very well and hopefully stop the rust.
