Topic :I bent my lawnmower's shaft. What are my options?
It depends on the kind of mower and the motor size. Straightening is out of the
question. You could possibly buy a new shaft and piston rod for about $100 most
motors. I would look at picking up a used motor to replace the old one with. I
pick up motors all the time for $25-50 in like-new condition. A brand new one
will run $100-200. I would forget about repair and start looking for another
motor...or a whole new mower. A motor is easy to change. Just 4 bolts on the
bottom.
