Topic :Splitting a satellite dish line
Help! I need to find out how to run a second television off my satellite
dish, in my work shop out back of my home. |
There's 2 ways to split the satellite cable. The first way requires a dual satellite system. I'm assuming that you don't have a dual system or you wouldn't be writing me.
What you'll need to do is put a splitter on the line out of the sat. box and run your wire to both the TV's. The problem with this strategy is that both the TV's need to be watching the same thing, and you'll have to run to the house to change the channel. This is unavoidable unless you have the dual system. You can buy the coaxial cable you'll need at any radio shack and
the splitter too. |
