Topic :Oil Stains on Concrete

How can I remove oil stains that are on my front porch and driveway, in the concrete?
This is supposed to be a good way, though I've never tried it. A bunch of people have written me and said it works great:
1. go to your local hardware store and buy a small container of Portland cement. should cost about $3.00
2. buy a box of Tide powder.
3. buy a good stiff scrub-brush

Lightly wet down the area to be cleaned. sprinkle equal amounts of tide and Portland cement over the stain. Use the brush and scrub the mixture until it becomes a thick paste( you may add a little extra water if needed). Let it sit for 5 minutes, covering the stain.

Once it has sat for 5 minutes. add some more water and scrub for a few more minutes then hose it off competely. Repeat if necessary.

Make sure to rinse the areas well and don't let the mixture dry out while you're letting it sit. It will become almost impossible to remove if it dries. The portland cement should pull the oil out of the concrete, and the tide should clean the surface.
