My son turned my mower over, now it won’t run. Help!

My son turned my lawnmower over causing all the oil to drain out. I have cleaned the plug and changed the oil and I still cannot get it to start. What suggestions do you have? It is a yard machine by MTD 4.74 hp/22" high wheeler, side discharge mulcher.
Replace the spark plug. Don’t just clean it, get a new one. Then if the problem hasn’t gone away let me know and we’ll move on to the next step.
