Topic :Lawn Boy Carb Problems

I have a lawn boy with the 4.5 commercial engine. It is an electric start, self-propelled mower. I am not sure of the model number right now. The cord that attaches to recharge it is missing and I am having to crank it by hand. The question is: I have removed and cleaned out the gas tank, cleared the line to the carburetor, made sure that Fuel is getting into the bowl. When I try to start it nothing happens. I can spray some ether in it and it will crank and burn off the ether. So what I am assuming is that for some reason the gas is not getting into the engine. What do I need to do or what are the settings on the screws to tune the carb.
You'll need to take the carb apart and clean it. There's a clog somewhere. You may even consider buying a carb rebuild kit and just redo the whole thing at once. There may be a torn diaphragm or something like that.

The screw settings should be about 1 to 1/2 turn out.
