Topic :Low hot water pressure

Hello, and thank you for your service.
My brother bought a house recently in the Dallas area, where the water is really hard. One of the bathtubs has almost no HOT water pressure whatsoever, but the COLD water pressure seems fine. The HOT water pressure seems fine around the rest of the house. The house was built in 1977. Do you have any idea what might cause this and how it might be fixed? Thank you in advance.
This is a tough call. The simplest thing to look for is a hidden valve before or after the hot water tank. It's very common for a valve to not be open all the way.

If that fails, any number of things could be wrong...the first thing I would suspect is that the tank wasn't installed right and the different kind of pipes are reacting with each other and creating blockage at the tub. There are special isolating fittings which must be used on hot water tanks to prevent corrosion in the pipes.

Next I would consider changing the tub valve and flushing the pipes. The valve may have a lot of corrosion in it and it's clogging things up.
