Topic :Replacing bathroom faucets

Hi, THANKS for a neat service. I have to replace my bathroom faucets. Being one of little or no experience in this type of work, and wanting to do it myself, any suggestions where to begin? What tools? What hardware? etc. Thanks a bunch.
As far as bathroom faucets go, for most sink faucets it's a pretty easy change over. The toughest part will be getting the old one off. As for shower/ tub faucets, hire somebody. They are fairly complicated and require a good knowledge of soldering and other more advanced plumbing.

Tools you'll need will be pliers, adjustable wrench, basin wrench, possibly some screwdrivers, and a very strong back for laying under the sink.

Pretty much basic stuff.

To make your life easy, buy the flexible metal braid hoses they sell near the faucets for hooking them up. They come in different lengths from 8" to 2'. The hoses are pre-made to have all the fittings you'll need right on them. All you have to do is mount the faucet, hook up the hoses, turn the water back on, and you're done. The faucet will contain specific directions in the box...make sure you follow them too.

Before you turn the faucet on for the first time, remember to remove the aerator (where the water comes out) and flush the system for 2 minutes (both hot and cold) to get and debris out of the line before replacing the aerator.
