Topic : I am replacing the plug for my dryer, but I made a mistake and disconnected the old plug without paying attention to where the wires went. Can you help? The wire has 3 colors: black, white and red. The outlet has 3 terminals: silver, brass and brass.

| The white wire goes to the silver terminal. The black goes to the first brass terminal, and the red goes to the second brass terminal. It doesn't matter which brass terminal you designate as #1 or #2...they are interchangeable. |
