Topic :Concrete Pool Patio Crack

I have a very long crack in pool deck. it does not go all the way through, in fact it is no more than a sixteenth of an inch deep but is still a eye sore. What would be best way to patch what material etc.? The contractor left some patch paint but I'm sure that won't match perfectly, should I dilute it or what after crack is patched. Bottom line I don't want to look at something worse than it is now.
In my opinion, I would leave the crack alone. A repair will never match, and since the crack is more of a visual problem it will stand to reason that repairing it would be the greater of two evils.

To understand what I mean, you need to know that there is no such thing as a top-only crack. The crack that you're seeing DOES go all the way through. It was caused by uneven settling of the pad. Even if you patch it, it will come back in a year or less. The concrete became stressed when one side settled faster than the other, and thus a crack appeared. This is why the contractors put those lines in concrete, they hope any settling that does occur will happen in those lines and be somewhat hidden from sight.

If you need a real quick fix, go to your local hardware store and buy a tube of concrete caulk patch. All you'll need to do is fill in the crack and seal out water with little fuss.
