There is a problem with the float system. Either the float has become saturated with gas and isn't closing tightly, or the needle and seat aren't hitting each other correctly allowing the gas to fully shut off.
I would suggest buying a new float first and replacing that. It should only cost about $8-10. Be sure to ask the part's guy for the gauge and the measurement to set the float properly...they will have that info on hand when they look up the part.
While you have the carb all apart make sure and clean it well with spray carb cleaner. |
