Topic :Candle wax stains

Can you please tell me how to get candle wax off the carpet?
Before doing anything, scrape off all the extra wax with a butter knife and vacuum well. Try to get as much wax as possible before moving to the next step.

Usually, a medium hot iron with a heavy brown paper bag will work to get the remainder of the wax. Make sure you don't use a part of the bag with decoration on it...it has to be plain on both sides. Cut a square of bag as large as possible (at least twice as big as the iron) and place it over the wax. Apply the iron for a short while to the bag over the wax. The wax will melt and absorb into the bag. Repeat if needed with a clean section of bag. Rub area with a clean white cloth while the area is still warm to remove any leftover residue.

A few things not to do:
1.) Don't get the iron too hot or leave it in place too long as the carpet
may get damaged.
2.) Don't use a bag with any print on it as the print may transfer to the
carpet.
3.) Don't try this in a highly visible area first. It's possible that this
could make colored wax bleed into the fibers worse than it was originally.
Try in an area that doesn't show, or on a scrap piece or carpet first.
