To keep you disposal from not smelling up your kitchen here are some time-tested remedies to stinky-disposal:
1.) every other day throw in a chunk of lemon (peel and all) and grind it up
2.) Once a week pour a quarter cup of baking soda in the disposal and let it sit until you use it next.
3.) Grind up a tray of ice cubes. This scrubs the inside clean. You may need to still do the lemon or baking soda.
4.) 2 tablespoons of a bleaching cleanser and a tray of ice will work great to disinfect the disposal. |
